Pamela ‘Pam’ Cartwright

November 24, 2018

Unexpectedly at home, on Saturday, November 24, 2018, in her 72nd year. Beloved wife of Bill Cartwright for over 50 years. Loving mother of Rebecca Cartwright and Ben Cartwright. Treasured by her granddaughter Chloe, and by Chloe’s Mom, Emma. Loving daughter of Marion Barnett. Missed by fur babies: Molly, Brinly and Buddy. Pam will be remembered adoringly by countless friends and family. Pam was a light in so many lives; her door was always open. It wasn’t odd to find her children’s friends sitting around the kitchen table and hanging out with Pam, even when her children weren’t there! A testament to how loved Pam was by all. A very special thank you to the Dialysis Team at Victoria Hospital, and the staff at VON and SE Health for their care and compassion for Pam. A memorial service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation two hours prior. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Pam are asked to consider London Health Sciences Centre – Victoria Hospital Dialysis Unit or The London Consistory Club (Equipment).

Bill, Bec, Ben, Chloe, and Marion, May you all find strength in each other at this challenging time. I want you all to know how much I valued Pam in my life. She was always fun to be around, and never lost her sense of humour, even in the most difficult of circumstances. In time, my wish is that we'll all be able to reminisce about her with laughter rather than tears. RIP Pam.
