I am sad to hear about this tragedy. I am sure that God cares for all his creatures and he would never bring us suffering. A soothing scripture I like is Psalm 34:18 "Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart, and those who are crushed in spirit he saves." He promised that in the Paradise, we will have the prospect of enjoying life without end, free from all problems, accidents, and sickness. Even our dead loved ones like precious Owen will be resurrected. (Psalm 37:9, 29; Revelation 21:3, 4) Thus, while you await the Paradise where peace and happiness will flourish; where no one will be sick and die; may you lean on God to give you the strength you need in the days ahead.

Thinking of you during this difficult time. Owen was a sweet, loving boy who fought hard against his illness with his loving family by his side. We enjoyed taking care of Owen, and will miss his spunky personality. My thoughts are with you at this time of loss. Hugs

I love you and miss you Owen. I feel so grateful to have known you and spent time with such a beautiful, happy spirit. You're an amazing boy with incredible strength and I can't wait til we see each other again. "Perhaps they are not stars in the sky, but rather openings where our loved ones shine down to let us know they are happy."

There are no words that can even begin to explain the pain & loss that we all feel. It has been a very difficult last year for Stevie & David but every second they had with Owen was a blessing no matter how many sleepless nights they had at the hospital, they stayed and never left there baby boys side. Such strong wonderful parents! Owen touched so many lives in his time here , he tough us to be strong, happy , enjoy the lil things and most of all to never give up no matter how hard life is and That everything happenes for a reason . Although his time was short here on earth he tough many of us that whatever we have going on in our lives, their is someone else out there who is strugglin worse so be greteful for the little things! Anyone who knew Owen would tell you he NEVER cried out in pain , you would only see him cry for his mom & dad or his loving Grampa. I will never forget the day he was born , I went to meet my handsome new Newfew and fell in love imidiatly. But the look in Stevies eyes told me she had finally felt complete and it was love at first sight. That bond will forever be in her heart & soul , and one thing I know that gets Stevie through this is knowing her mother is up there with Owen taking care of him and now he's a guardian angel with grandma watch over his mommy & daddy .♡♥ Thank you for touching so many lives lil guy , we all love & miss u & i promise I will see you again someday my love. GBNF * THE GOOD DIE YOUNG* XOXOXOXOXOXOX Auntie Sarah knows your no longer hurting , be at sweet peace finally my Sweet Prince . Hi Stevie & David, I am crushed for you, hearing that your sweet boy Owen passed away. You don't know me personally, but we have often been in the PMDU at the same time and our little ones have played together a bit. I remember seeing Owen walking the halls, when both he and my daughter were inpatient as well. I know there are no words that I can say to soothe at this time, but we are sending love to you.

~ Heather

I am so saddened to hear of Owen's passing. I really enjoyed getting to know him and his family at the school and know how much he is loved! My thoughts and prayers are with all of his loved ones at this difficult time. He will be greatly missed!
