Peacefully, at Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, December 9, 2015, in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Wendy. Loving father of Joseph (the late Lynda) Phillips and Penny (Doug) Cloutier; step-father of Mark Bray and Paul Wilson. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and his “Phillips Tool Family”. Otto started Phillips Tool and Mould, in 1975, successfully employing hundreds of people for over 35 years. Otto loved fishing, and his boats and cars. Otto, I am comforted to know you are now at peace. Your spirit to live finally moved on to a better place. We had many chats - enough to know how much you loved your family and how proud you were of your children. Our conversations brought us closer and we expressed our love for each other many times. You will always be in my memory as a man who overcame all odds and still endured. Your strength in that I will always admire. As you and I said the last time we met "I love you". I say it now again "I love you, Otto". Our mother, too, is happy that you are at rest.

~ Otto's sister (Helga)

I was a little girl when I met Otto Phillips. He gave me so many happy childhood memories. Every year I looked forward to those Phillips Tool Christmas parties and summer picnics. The highlight of course those water balloons!! So much fun. My children were even able to attend many years later. What a kind and generous man to do that for others. Rest in peace dear Otto.
