With great sadness we announce the passing of Ophelia at Strathmere Lodge on Sunday, November 27th, 2011, at the age of 85. Beloved wife of Edmond Grozelle for 62 years. Cherished mother of Ron (Min) Grozelle, of Ridgetown, Larry (Willy) Grozelle, of Mt. Brydges, Anne (Larry) Renaud, of Carlisle, Doreen (Tony) Strybosch, of Branchton, Karen (Kevan) Baker, of Strathroy, Jean (Mike) Hoevenaars, of Claremont, Pauline (Shawn) Trinier, of Burlington and Randy (Tina) Grozelle, of London. She will be sadly missed by 29 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, and by her sister Aline Dubeau. Predeceased by her parents Isadore and Beatrice Moreau, of Perkinsfield, brothers Fedore and Willard Moreau and grandson Joseph Grozelle, of Ridgetown. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. George Roman Catholic Parish, 1164 Commissioners Road West on Wednesday, November 30th, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, St. Peter’s Cemetery in London. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society or to the Strathmere Lodge Palliative Care Room would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
Ophelia was loved and respected by so many
and we were all blessed to have had her touch our lives.
