Noreen Bernadette Mark

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Noreen Bernadette Mark who was born in St. Paul’s Grenada, lived in London, Ontario, and passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 8, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones. In Grenada, Noreen was a member of the Grenada Civil Service and in Canada, she was a Social Worker and a Montessori teacher. Noreen loved music, singing and dancing and had a deep and enduring faith in God. Above all else, she treasured her family.
Noreen is predeceased by her parents Fred and Imo Mark and her sister Shirley Wilson. She is loved and deeply missed by her siblings: Doreen Charles (devoted twin), Rita McAuley (Winston), Margaret Mark, Janis Mark (all of London), Rosamund St. Bernard (Arthur) of Toronto, Patricia Mark and Evlyn Mark (of Grenada); her nephews: Steve Wilson (Marcia), Bernard Wilson (Pam), Nicholas Wilson (Pam), Gary McAuley (Nancy), George McAuley, Mark McAuley (Kathryn), Randy McAuley (Jayna), David St. Bernard and Evelyn-George Mark; her nieces: Evelyn Mark, Josephine Walters, Trudy Duncan, Rosanne Christiaans (Mariano), Joanne Honegan (Jason), and Maya Mark; her many cousins, including: Fayne Bullen and family, Carlton Mark and family, Reginald Mark (Janet), Collette Hope (Tim) and the Bruno, Simon, Clarkson, Toussaint and Alexander families of Grenada; her many grand-nieces and nephews; her dear friends in Grenada, Canada and England, including: Emmy Edwards, Sheila Bodden, Tulip Anthonyson-Huie, Irma Gibson, Elfreda Greenidge, Greta James and Evelyn Manwarren. She was known by so many as “Upstairs Miss Mark”, the nurturing and caring teacher at the London Montessori School where she taught for over 20 years. She will be fondly remembered by parents and past students from her time at the school.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. Funeral Service to be conducted at Holy Family Parish, 777 Valetta Street, London, on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest at a later date in Grenada.
A very special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and 2nd Floor ICU staff at University Hospital, for their dedication and care of Noreen. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Noreen are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

Is is deep sadness to learn about the death of Noreen, our deepest condolences to the family. It’s never easy to loose a family member,I pray God will comfort and grant peace to all her love one, may she Rest In Peace.
It is with sadness at the death of my much loved first cousin Noreen than I extend my sympathy and condolences to all members of the family. Noreen and her twin sister Doreen were the fruits of the same genes that enabled me to be the father of my twin sons Tim and Trevor. Our roots run very deep. I am very proud of Noreen’s many accomplishments. She did her part to make the world batter place She deserves know peace.

We are very saddened to learn of Noreen’s passing. We have very dear and fond memories of her visiting our family. She has been a devoted, genuine and loyal family friend. Noreen was a devout Christian, who believed in the power of prayer. Our heartfelt condolences to the entire Mark family circle. May Noreen’s soul rest well.
