Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice, London, on November 18th, 2017 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Ruth Elizabeth (Gunn) Powell. Loving father of Patrick (Kerry) Powell of Western Australia, and Thomas (Mary) Powell of Cambridge, Ontario. Predeceased by his son David Powell (2007). Loving Grandfather of 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. The funeral service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Tuesday, November 21st, 2017 at 12:30 p.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment, Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Nelson are asked to consider St. Joseph’s Hospice.

Our deepest sympathy on your familys loss. Nelson meant alot to my mom Nellie and he will certainly be missed a great deal. By both of us.
