Tonight a new star will shine. Peacefully with her family by her side, on Saturday, August 27, 2011, Nancy Davies passed away in her 83rd year. Predeceased by her husband Gordon in 2004. Lovinig mother of Susan Daub and her husband Steven, Nancy Sharon Davies, Beverley Davies and Heather Glennie and her husband Jack. Dear Nana of Kevin, Jeff, Scott, Bryan and Craig. Cousin of Vern and Eileen Lamberton. Nancy’s family wishes to thank Cheryl Talbot and the staff of the Palliative Care Unit for their compassion and care. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London where a Memorial Service will be conducted on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 11:00 am. Heather & Jack, The way through the world is more difficult to find than the way beyond it. Memory remains part of the heart forever. I'll always remember your Mom's laugh. It was contagious, just as her attitude towards life was. Thinking of you and your family during this sad time.
Dear Davies Girls and Families, Sincerest sympathy to all of you...our thoughts are with you! Hopefully the kind words, warm hugs and shared stories of your mother will help you through your sad days. Theses expressions of sympathy have a way of weaving together a taspestry of time and love and memories. I certainly can recall some wonderful times spent at the NOTL Davies' cottage during our summer holidays. One of my favourite recollections is of Nancy making the yummiest goulash and being invited to stay to have some. She was a lovely lady! Warmest Hugs to All of You!

My sincere condolences to family and friends. A Great Lady. As a fellow resident of 555, Nancy was always a pleasure whenever we met at the mail boxes or at the camaraderie of weekly Bingo which she enjoyed very much . So did I, my spot was right next to hers. She will be especially missed Halloween eve. Nancy always dressed up in a full Witch costume to the delight of all the kids. Rest in Peace dear Nancy.
