My sincere condolences to Nadine's family. I have met Nadine on many occasions in the park while walking our dogs and found her always friendly and cheerful .She left us too soon and will be missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Ben and Alyssa and your family at this difficult time.

Nadine holds a special place in my heart. Her English class is still, to this day, one of my favourite classes. She inspired me and always believed in my potential. I still have projects in a keepsake box that I made in her class with wonderful words of encouragement from her. Being a teacher now myself, I often look to her example to remember what qualities make a good teacher. The kindness and care she invested into my life will never be forgotten. My heart goes out to her family and close friends during this time.

Dear Steve, Ben and Alyssa, Although many years have past the Favro's have held a place in our hearts. It's OK to shed a tear and miss our departed ones, but remember that life is for the living. Nadine's life is full of memories, we go forward with them and share her experiences with others. By doing this we honour her memory and keep it alive. Dear Ben and Alyssa God has given us many beautiful things in life Most come by twos and threes, by dozens and hundreds. Plenty of roses, stars, sunsets, rainbow, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, but only one mother in the whole world. I know in my heart you mom will always be with you both

Offering my sincere condolences to Nadine's family at this time of loss. I last saw her in Owen Sound at a class reunion a few years back. I will definitely remember that gorgeous smile.

Miss Johnston/Mrs. Favro was my English teacher three times in high school back in the late 80s. Her encouragement and enthusiasm for my writing helped nudge me in a direction I ultimately pursued professionally and still love (journalism.) But mostly I remember little comments, like feedback on my journal entries, and other small gestures of personal support when a tennager most needed to hear it. She gave her personal time to activities at our little school in ways I am sure were not fully appreciated by us at the time. I never saw her after graduation but I want her family to know I consider her to have been one of my formative influences. She's lost to you too soon, but her work had a positive impact and that carries on.

To my very special friend. I have so many fond memories of the fun things we did and the places we went to together. I cannot forget that beautiful smile. Your caring thoughts towards others will be always remembered. Love as always, Elaine

To the Favro family Our most heartfelt sympathy to all of you. Nadine was a fantastic teacher at North Middlesex. She was so suited to a small town school because of the way she inspired each of those kids whether in her class or not. Because of Nadine, I found my breast cancer. She was truly a mentor to me as I went through my own journey. Many beautiful memories that we all have of her. Please know that our hearts are with you as you go through this. Having a celebration of her life on Feb. 14th is an added tribute to Nadine as she showed so much love to everyone who knew her.

She was an amazing teacher at North Middlesex District High School. Her smile was contagious and her love for her students was so evident. She was always willing to go above and beyond for the kids and our school. She taught both my husband and myself and then 3 of our kids. She will be dearly missed. Our thoughts and prayers go to the family during this difficult time.

Alyssa. Thinking of you during this most difficult time. You were an amazing caregiver and support to your mom. May you find peace in your many memories and the obvious love you and your mom shared 💕

I met Nadine through Elaine Hutchen and remember her as a very positive and kind person and fun to be with. Gone too soon. My deepest sympathy to her family.

Her trip with Dee was her great joy. The story's and pictures ,she wanted to go again. Her love was her children and her dog. I will miss are little talk s. My thoughts are with the Family at this time

To Ben and Alyssa, so very sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I have so many fond memories of your Mom and sharing her stories over twenty years of attending pottery nights with her "fellow potheads" at Hutton House, as we called ourselves. Your Mom loved everyone with an open heart and shared her spirit in our company with many happy and humorous times. You both can be proud of your Mom's sense of integrity and dedication to respect and the desire to learn. She was a great mother, teacher, and friend. Sincere sympathies to you both.

To Miss Nadine's family - She was my English teacher at North Middlesex. I still remember her very fondly of being a teacher, how caring and nice she was to all the students. She had a beautiful soul and I know alot of people will miss her terribly. She's gone way too soon. Please know that my thoughts and sympathies are with you all.

It was because of Nadine (Mrs. Favro) that I became an English teacher. I had the privilege of being one of her students in grade nine and in O.A.C. at North-Middlesex District High School. It was evident from the first day in her class that she loved the English language, teaching, and most importantly her students. She will be deeply missed.

My sincere condolences to the whole family on the passing of such a wonderful woman way too soon. I have many fond memories of growing up with Nadine, babysitting together, sleepovers, and of her sharing my wedding day as my maid of honour. Although our lives got busy raising children, pursuing careers and the miles between our homes grew, she was never far from my thoughts. When we would see each other after a very long time it was like we saw each other only the day before. She could make me laugh like no other. I truly will miss Nadine!

My condolences to the family. Nadine was a teacher dedicated to her craft who truly inspired many of her students. She will be missed.

Nadine was a special part of our family. We enjoyed many fun experiences at the condo in Florida, up north in Muskoka, girls getaways and special holidays. She had a smile that would light up a room. She was zany, generous, thoughtful and hilarious. A life gone way too soon but heaven just inherited quite an angel. Our heartfelt sympathies to Ben, Alyssa and Steve. My sincere condolences to Nadine's family. I was lucky to know Nadine through walks with Nadine, our friend Elaine, and the dogs at Komoka and summer expeditions to Quai Du Vin Winery music events. She was a warm, caring, and enthusiastic person who lovingly shared stories about her family and had many hopes for her retirement. She will be missed.

I met Nadine in the park at Komoka quite a few years ago when we were both walking our dogs I remember her bright smile and very friendly manner. Deepest sympathies to you all on your loss..
