Peacefully passed away at Elmwood Place in London, Ontario, on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of 52 years to Irene. Cherished father of Winnie, Andrew, Angela (Jay Malabanan). Loving grandfather of Alayna, Elijah, Miriam and Maya. Dear brother of Mushtaq (late Rafiqa), late Razaaq (Rosaline), Imtiaz (Prabha). Mumtaz will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Mumtaz was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and served the Lord faithfully his whole life. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where a funeral service will be conducted on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Greg Wyton officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Registration and proof of double vaccination will be required to attend the visitation and service.
