Doug and Family: We are sorry to hear of Millie's passing. We lived next to Doug and Millie in London for approx. 10 years and they are such kind, caring and wonderful people. Our kids loved to visit Doug and Millie daily. They always had such great stories to tell and loved to watch the kids play and ride their bikes. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, The Kings

Dear Auntie Mil, I will love you forever and always. Mil & Mel .... what a pair you two were. I think I'm going out to buy a pair of gold sleeper earrings with a little pearl on each side, in your honour - even mucking a cow stall you looked like such a lady wearing those darn things ! Bless your heart !! Your niece, Kathy

Dear Uncle Doug, Randy and Bob........I am so saddened to have heard of Aunt Mil's death. Her smile, her laugh, and the love that shone from her face was so powerful coming out of that tiny frame. I remember visiting the farm as a youngster, and introducing you all to my kids when they came along. They always spoke happily of Grandpa Doug and Grandma Mil (as they called you). Much love. Dear Doug, Bob and Randy: I was saddened to hear of Millie's passing. I remember when I was a kid and lived on Trafalgar Street Millie babysat me while my Mom went to work. I remember visiting you out at the farm and Doug and Millie coming to my 25th Wedding Anniversary. She was a wonderful caring woman and made the best peanut butter cookies. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Lynda

Dear Uncle Doug, Cousins Bob and Randy and families, I was so sorry to hearing of Aunt Mil's passing....she was always such a gentle and loving part of the whole big family...and a very special friend to my mother Dorothy. Over the past few years I would often pick up the little newspaper called Daytripping for both my mother and Mil, as they both loved the stories and jokes in it. Without fail, Aunt Mil would call to so warmly thank me for thinking of her ...when it was such a small thing for me to pick it up. She was a very special person who we will miss for sure!
