Dear Archie & Fiona: No one better than God, understands the depth of your pain and can help you cope with your disquieting thoughts. He is called the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort and he cares for you. The Bible describes a time in the future when all mankind will not be subject to accidents, sickness, and death. Jehovah God promised that soon, he will "wipe out every tear from our eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." (Psalm 37:29; Revelation 21:4) Until then, may you receive God’s peace that excels all thought, so that it will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus as you reminisce happy memories of Michael and other loved ones.

My deepest sympathies are with you Archie and Fiona. Michael was truly a special spirit and I feel so blessed that I had the privilege to meet him and your family. His strength and determination through everything is an inspiration and a reminder life can amaze us. I'm sure that there is a greater plan for him and his contagious smile.

Archie and Fiona, my sincere condolences on your loss. While I haven't had the privilege of seeing either of you or Michael for several years now as I've grown up and moved away from London, how the Cairns family is doing has been important to my family throughout my childhood into adulthood. All of you mean a very great deal to my father and the rest of the Potters. I hope you have found comfort and support during this time. I know Michael will be dearly missed. Archie and Fiona, I will always remember the way Michael and Brad would make faces at each other, his wonderful smile (he lit up the entire room) and his millions of girlfriends. He was quite the ladies man! Another thing I will never forget is the many times he fired you Fiona. Michael was a light that was extinguished much too soon.

Thinking of you Fiona & Archie. Relish the joy he brought to your life. Your devotion to him is a testament to the lives you shared and the man you helped him become. It was an honour to care for him and get to know you.

I will always have fond memories of Michael! I was fortunate to get to know the Cairn family both through Zellers and then Walmart. You're bright spirit will be missed Michael! Thank-you for blessing us over the years.

Archie and Fiona, I'm so sorry to hear of Michael's passing. Thank you so much for making Pizza Hut, and our staff, part of your family life. Every time I heard about a new t-shirt, the newest movie, or was treated to a side hug, I felt honoured to share in Michael's enthusiasm, and downright lucky to have him share an occasional hug. He was a special soul, and I'm thinking of you both during this time. May he rest in peace.

He did at least dance with me once. I will miss his cheerful disposition in the branch, even though it was mostly reserved for Josie. You will be in my thoughts and prayers in the days ahead. Archie and Fiona, We were so sorry to hear of Michael's passing. You are in the thoughts of the board and staff and a memorial donation is being made in Michael's honour. On a personal note, when Michael was able to come to the banquet with you or every time I ran into you guys at the movies, he would come out with something that would make me smile. Carolyn
