Your family is strong and close. I am sure you will keep Mike in your hearts and prayers always. We kept him in our thoughts and prayers the last few months.
Heather, I am so saddened to hear of the passing of your husband. Please know that I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
My deepest condolences to the entire Semchism family during this difficult time. Mike was nothing less than a second father to me and one of the most wonderful human beings I've ever known. He started out in my life as my family pharmacist, he then gave me an opportunity to work at Greenhills for many years. This evolved in to a close friendship that I will always hold dear to my heart.
I first met Mike as we were both opening our pharmacies with 1 year of each other. He was helpful as always and with brother Jim our businesses became more involved over the years. Kim and I extend our deepest condolences to the entire Semchism family.
My deepest condolences to the Semchism family as I just came across this obituary by chance. My late mother Rosa Senese used to be the Semchisms housekeeper and Mike and I both attended St Martins Catholic school together. Mike was a great kid to be around always smiling and cheerful. Rip Mike
We are very sorry for your loss Heather, Joseph and Matthew. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Maria and Peter Bruijns
Heartfelt Condolences, you and your family are in my heart and mind. My fondest memory was a visit Mike made while I was living in Ottawa after our Catholic Central days. Mike flew up for the day in his own plane, we had a great lunch, and off he went. As I saw him take off, I remember thinking, WOW, check out Mike, he really has it all together! We all knew he would. All the best my friend, into the wild blue yonder!
So sad to hear of Mike's passing. He was such a gentle soul. We tended to bump into eachother when in lab classes. I was on the "S" bench too. Rest in oeace Mike.
We were so saddened to hear of Mike's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
We were shocked to hear of Mike's passing. He gave me my first pharmacy job at Greenhills Pharmacy when I was 18 years old. I became friends and worked with Sharon, Jim and Peter over the years. Mike taught me a lot and was always very generous. I can't count the times he bought me supper while working at Greenhills. I learned to drive a manual transmission in his Mazda and I house-sat for him and Heather numerous times. While doing so I blew his speakers while listening to his numerous records. He had great taste in music and we attended several concerts together. Mike tried to teach me how to play tennis and even though I was terrible he made it fun. He had a quirky sense of humour and we shared many laughs together. The Semchism family was always good to me and for that I am grateful. Our deepest condolences to the family.
A great loss in so many ways. Our condolences and best wishes to all of Mike's family members.
My heart goes out to the entire Semchism family. I am truly grateful to Mike and Heather, and the extended Semchism family, for being wonderful employers and friends. We are thinking of all of you at this time.
On behalf of the Rotary Club of London-Lambeth, condolences to Mike's family & loved ones. Mike was a gentle, considerate man, respected in his profession and in his community. He contributed to Lambeth in many ways, always quietly and without fanfare or expectation of public plaudits. He will be greatly missed and long-remembered, with affection.

Our hearts are heavy as we realize Mike has gone. He was one of the first people we met when we moved here 32 years ago. Mike was always so caring and very professional. He had time to help with advice and he always remembered your name and everyone in your family. Mike naturally displayed community spirit and as we grew from the village of Lambeth, to being a part of London - his exceptional caring disposition never changed. He touched the lives of many. With love - Neil, Janet, James & Lucas McCallum
Michael was a loving husband, and father and will be missed dearly by our family. Most sincere condolences to my sister Heather and nephews Joe and Matt. Dear Peter ... I just learned of your brothers passing today and my heart goes out to you and your family. Although I did not know Michael, I know the love of family and the sorrow of loss. May the memories of Michael and the love of family surround you and give you strength in the days ahead. Lori Peck, K and J Pharmacy, Clinton On
Mike and I were quite close classmates and friends in Pharmacy 8T2. He and I shared many happy memories at University of Toronto and usually sat together in lectures, sharing notes, complaining about the work, comparing laboratory "messes" and providing commentary about the lecturers. My wife and I have fond memories of attending the annual variety show, the Pharmacy Phollies together with Mike. He was great for just hanging out and listening. He made pharmacy class a special place for many of us. It just seems like yesterday that he and I went to a rock concert in Toronto at one of the Christmas breaks. He was such a dear friend, a great husband and father, a real credit to the profession of Pharmacy and a really decent person. I am really grateful that I was able to meet him and get to know him over the four years at U of T.
I was so sad to hear about Mike. My condolences to his wife and children. He was a good friend to my husband, Raymond.

We have lost an important member of our extended family. Michael was quick to smile and had a wonderful quirky sense of humour. His will to live was simply not a match for cancer. I am so saddened to hear of Mike's passing. He hired me when Greenhill's Pharmacy first opened and I worked there happily for several years before heading off to my first teaching job. Mike was caring, funny, supportive and encouraging. It really was my favourite job growing up! I also had the privilege of babysitting his boys when they were very little and working with his brother too! I'm glad to hear he is not suffering anymore. He will be missed for sure! God bless the family during this sad time.
