Matthew ‘Matt’ William Ballard

Peacefully, at his residence in Woodstock, on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at the age of 46. Cherished father of Lilly and Ella. Beloved son of William “Bill” and the late Norma Ballard. Matt will be sadly missed by his brother, Paul and his wife, Paula; nieces, Chloe and Berlynn; Uncle Don and Aunt Mary; Aunt Cath and Uncle Chris; cousins, Austin and Holly; Uncle Bob and Aunt Carol; and many dear friends. A visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Sunday, November 25, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., where a funeral service will be conducted on Monday, November 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Matt are asked to consider a charity of your choice.

I am so sorry to hear about this. I was a fan of Matt's upbeat, friendly supportive and knowledgeable YouTube channel.. He was one of my favorites. When I didn't see any updates for a few months I was worried that something had happened. Terrible news. He will be missed. Thoughts and prayers to his family. R.I.P.

My Youtube Hero, Matt was a reassuring voice for me on youtube. He was very generous with his time and he made me smile on many occasions. I recall his weight loss and health journey, and he inspired me to invest in my health. Matt passed away 1 day after my 44th birthday. Although I never met Matt in person, I got to know him through YouTube. I live just 30 minutes away from Woodstock, where Matt lived. Sad to hear of his passing. RIP Matt.

I've known Matt and Paul since highschool. Matt was a very kind soul. This was a shock to hear. My sincere condolences to you all.
