Mathew Joseph Dugal
May 27, 2012
Passed away suddenly at University Hospital, London, on Sunday, May 27, 2012 in his 61st year. Dear husband of Connie (Lunn) and proud loving father of Kevin. Son of Matt and Doris (predeceased 2008) Dugal. Oldest brother of Mark (LuAnne), Penny (Milton) Harris, and Tammy (Mike) Ganney. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, along with many cousins. He remained forever passionate about the cities of Windsor, Ontario and Detroit, Michigan, along with the Detroit Tigers, Red Wings, and Windsor Spitfires. He was happy to call Tiger Stadium and the Windsor “Barn” his second homes. Connie & Kevin, We are sorry for your loss. Matt was a good friend and shocked when found out about his passing from Doug last nite in Port Stanley. If you need help with anything please contact us because Matt would have done the same without hesitation because that was the kind of guy he was. He was the first person to intrudes me to the game of golf which Linda and I love to play. Steve & Linda Mekker

Hi Mrs. Dugal, Mrs. Pellerin told us today that your husband died and I am so, so sorry. I hope you and your family are doing ok. I think about you so often and was so sad for you when she told us the news this morning. I sent you a card so I hope that you got it. Connie and Kevin....I was heart broken to hear of your sudden loss. As a former employee of The OarHouse London, I was introduced to "Mattie," who was a loyal patron. He quickly became a reliable golf buddy, a fierce poker competitor, but most importantly, all kidding aside, he became a great friend and remained so, long after I left the OarHouse. I will remember him for his good natured humour, the instigator of having fun and laughing freely, just because you can. He put smiles on a lot of faces, and I hope you will remember this and maybe take some comfort knowing he was loved during this difficult time.
So sorry to hear about Matt's sudden passing. My husband and I had met Matt on occasion as our son lives next door to the Dugals.
