TARDIF, Mary Ann Thersa – Ms. Mary Ann Tardif (nee Krygsman) was born in Zevenhuizen, The Netherlands, on March 31st, 1951 to Cornelius Jules and Adrianna (Jean) Marrigje Krygsman, both predeceased. Mary died peacefully at Parkwood Hospital on Monday, February 20th, 2012, in her 61st year. Loving mother of Sonia, Christine and Melissa Tardif. Cherished grandmother of Kirstyn Seminara. Dear sister of Jane and Case Annen, Cory and Fred Hilliker and Henry Krygsman. Predeceased by her sister Irene Westrick. A memorial service will be conducted at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Thursday, February 23rd, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Mary are asked to consider the Canadian Cancer Society (Lung Cancer).

Dear Mary, Please know that your spirit certainly lives on in the wonderful children that you have raised. Thank you for giving me such a wonderul friend that is always there for me when I need her. Today and from now on, I promise you that I will be there for her in the same way that she has been there for me. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family at this time. I have wonderful memories of Mary from the early 70's when we lived in an old country house that had been converted into apartments. She lived upstairs with Henry and we had wonderful visits. I'm so very sorry for your loss.

I will always remember Mary's passion for gardening. She nurtured the beauty of nature that surrounded her home. As her next door neighbour for several years, i also enjoyed the fruits of Mary's hard work. When she was finished her own gardens, she would always pay a little extra attention to our greenery. She really cared about those around her and wanted to share the beauty. Mary will be missed. Our thoughts, prayers and love to all the family at this very difficult time.
