On Saturday, September 6, 2014, after a lengthy illness, at the age of 93. Mary leaves behind her loving husband, Evan Simpson, after 71 years of marriage; her daughter Carole Simpson; son-in-law Malcolm Sefton; grandson Nigel Sefton; granddaughter-in-law Alison Jones; and twin great-grandchildren Charley and Declan Sefton. Visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North (note: due to construction, please use the Horizon Drive entrance) on Tuesday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at HOLY FAMILY PARISH, 777 Valetta Street, London on Wednesday, September 10th, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Those wishing to make a donation in Mary’s memory are asked to consider St. Joseph’s Hospice of London.

Dear Evan , My deepest sympathy in your loss,. Mary was a wonderful lady. I will always remember her love of family ,her singing, our Saturday dances ,fun at Port Stanley-most of all a very dear friend. My prayers & love to you, Carole, Malcolm, Nigel & family. God bless, Ella, Calgary
