Rest well Mary Jane. You had a beautiful and blessed family
Mary Jane, it was a pleasure to have known you and a pleasure caring for you. I will miss holding your hand down the hall going for Dinner and you saying “I am in my slippers is that ok?” I would say “I am in my stinky work uniform is that ok?, we can be two peas in a pod” you would laugh so hard and say how funny I was. And when I put you to bed before I took your hearing aids I would say “Mary, I am going to take your hearing aids, so I am going to say Goodnight Sweet Dreams now” you would say “but I won’t be able to hear you?!” And I would say “that’s a good thing you don’t want to hear me anyways” and you would smile and laughter and say “you’re so nice”. I will miss you greatly and your lovely daughters, son and grandson. My Condolences to Chris, Mike and Suzanne.
Suzanne, Mark, Christine and families: My sincere condolences on your loss.
Condolences to the Waugh family on Mary Jane's passing. She and John E. are remembered fondly as great people. I baby sat their kids many, many years ago! Dianne
Our condolences to the Waugh Family. We have such fond memories of sending our kids over the fence to visit with Mr. And Mrs. Waugh, coming back with a fist full of candies. Mary Jane's butter tarts were an incredible treat. We enjoyed seeing her at St George Church each Sunday, after she moved. Mary Jane's kindness, smile and laugh will always be remembered.
I have known Mary Jane for many decades. Over that time we played bridge, saw many plays in Toronto, and had numerous chats over a cup of coffee. She was always kind with an ever-ready smile. She was truly an elegant woman. My sympathies to the entire Waugh family.
Condolences to the family of such a lovely lady. I had such a lovely chat with her when my father passed away. My heart is with you.
Too the Waugh family ... Aunt Mary Jane will be missed by the Thrasher boys of London as she and John visited us often while we were growing up. They were fun and generous and who could ever forget her smile and laugh. We will always remember her fondly.
I so enjoyed my visits to Mary Jane, providing her reflexology and foot care at her beautiful apartment. We would share stories of family, and our conversations were a real back and forth about everything under the sun! She was so gracious and kind in all of our encounters. The love she held for her family was beyond measure, and I’m sure you all knew that. What a gift Mary Jane was. And that smile! Second to none. Sending tender thoughts. May you all know peace.
I am so sorry to hear of your mothers passing. I will always remember her as a most elegant woman who was very involved with her family. The love she had for all shows in all left behind. She will be remembered by so many.
Mrs Waugh was so good to us since we were just little, as backdoor neighbours on Naomee and Montclair. Her smile could light up your day. Her heart was as big as her family. May you rest forever in God's sweetest peace. Julian + Marion Paparella
To all the Waugh family, I'm so sorry to hear about aunt Mary Jane passing. No matter what their age, its always difficult losing your mom. The memories will be forever.
As a young man growing up across the street, Mary Jane was like a second mother to me. Most of the time that was great but, sometimes it was tuff having 2 mothers to answer to. A great and compassionate woman who will forever be in my fondest memories. R.I.P. MRS. WAUGH!

To My Dear Waugh Cousins, Phil and I were so sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. Unfortunately, we could not attend the funeral but want you to know that our thoughts are with all of you during this difficult time. I am certain her very long and fulfilled life was due in large part to the the ongoing care and attention of her wonderful children. Her love of laughter and lovely smile was no doubt a Thrasher trait. I am hoping fond memories of your mother will always be with you, Sherry Evershed
