Mary Helen Reynolds (née Lavoie)

It is with great sadness, but with hearts full of love that we announce the passing of our cherished mother, Mary Helen Reynolds (née Lavoie) on Monday, August 14, 2023 in her 61^st year. Born in Sarnia, Ontario on May 12, 1963. Loving mother of Brian Joshua and her daughter-in-law Chancella Reynolds. Proud aunt of Joel, Braydon and Shelby. Predeceased by her parents Joseph Vincent Lavoie (1986) and Helen Augusta Lavoie (2009). Dear sister of the late Joseph William Lavoie (2014), late David Edward Lavoie (2022); survived by John A. Lavoie and his wife Vickie Lavoie.

Mary was kind, loving and giving woman. A text was sent to her and it sums up what everyone thought of our Mary. Quote from Chantal Mbazimana, “You are a gift, a pillar in the family and a wonderful example of love. You are filled with so much joy and you light up every room you are in. I pray you never lose sight of the joy and sunshine you are in the lives of all of us around you.”

As per Mary’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Studio One Room of the Cultural Centre, 75 William Street North, Chatham.
