Passed unexpectedly but peacefully surrounded by family on August 12th, 2013 in her 74th year. Cherished mother of Judy Lowens (Ron), Donna Bell (Don), Debbie Clarke (Paul), Richard Forbes, and the late Margaret Gallivan (Hal). Loving grandma of Tim, Scott, Robert, Brian, Brittany, Braiden, Jason and Tyler and great-grandma of Samantha, Jackson and Aaron. She will be missed by Dick Forbes, her extended family and friends. The family wish to extend a special thanks to the staff at McCormick Home and University Hospital for their exceptional care. The memorial service will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Thursday, August 15th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Mary are asked to consider the Canadian Diabetes Association.

When Ron told me that Judy's mom had passed away that morning, my thoughts immediately went to the many times I had stood between our homes conversing with Judy about her mom...and this was many, many times. Her mother was never far from her thoughts. At the news I am reflecting on the many signs of Judy's being a lovingly dedicated daughter. My thoughts are with her and her family now and in the days ahead.

We wish to express our sincere sympathy to Mary's family. Although we did not see your mom she was often in our thoughts. Jim and Catherine Dandy. My maiden name was Catherine Kelly. My father and mother were Jim and Doris Kelly. Mary was my first cousin.
