Our deepest sympathy goes out to all of MaryEllen's family, friends, colleagues & fur friends. MaryEllen was a beautiful person on the inside and out. She was a wonderful colleague of my cousin Corinne Wester, who is the god-daughter of my mother Silvia Spinosa. MaryEllen had only met my mother Silvia a few times and was kind enough to donate money towards my mother's funeral, on August 20, 2021 in London Ontario. MaryEllen, we will remember you fondly and forever, in our hearts. Rest in Peace. God bless you! Sincerely, with love Diana and Frankie D'Amico

Mary Ellen will be missed by us and so many of her winter friends in Florida. Those great dinners at Beef O Bradys!! we did have fun!
Twice in my career I followed in Mary Ellen’s footsteps. Each time I learned what a profound impact she had made on staff and students. I am so grateful for all the time she spent with me, with her patience, intelligence and huge heart showing me what it means to have a calling in education. You will be missed.
Mary Ellen was a kind and caring educator. She discovered the best in students and staff .She was able to provide a path to success for so many. Her great trait was her ability to take time to listen. This is a sad day.
Mary Ellen will always be one of my favourite people. She took on challenges in education with compassion and courage. It was wonderful to spend time with her, see her support of students always looking for solutions that worked for them. Her compassion and love for both people and animals made her a beautiful human. She will truly and deeply be missed. Lorrie
