I was a lucky little duck to have you show me the way in my formative years. In so many instances you unwittingly guided my moral compass. The memories are vast and everlasting and will live on with us forever. The lessons learned lasted right to the end when you showed us all how to roll with cards we are dealt. May your generosity advance science and may you Rest In Peace.
My deepest sympathies to all of you in Carolyn's family. She often shared her joy in loving you when she spoke with me. I'm most grateful for the times we spent enjoying nature together, and the bliss on her face while she watched the creek and the birds. She was a beautiful person. I miss her quiet serenity.
