Peacefully at home, on Saturday, February 18, 2023, surrounded by her family, Marion MacLean of London, in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Kemp MacLean. Loving father of Munroe MacLean and his wife Wanda, Peter MacLean and his wife Mary, Chris MacLean and his late wife Crystal, Jeff MacLean, and mother-in-law of Sydney MacLean. Also loved by her grandchildren: Behn, Kyra, Christian, Diana, Chelsey, Meagan, Echo and Stanley; and several great-grandchildren. Dear aunt of Judy Blackwell. Marion was a registered nurse in the city of London for over 30 years. Special thanks to Dr. Rubab as well as RN’s Megan and Rob of Saint Elizabeth Health Care. Cremation has taken place. There will be a private family interment at a later date. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Marion are asked to consider a charity of their choice.

Marion was my family’s next door neighbour for over 50 years. Before me, my grandparents and my aunt knew Marion, Kemp and the 4 boys and I remember the sounds of them leaping off their swimming pool’s diving board while we enjoyed our pool too. I stayed on in our Byron home and loved having Marion as a neighbour. She was quick to give me much needed gardening advice and we commiserated over spring and fall cleanups! Marion was a kind person and a great neighbour. I will miss her.
I loved working with Marion as a fellow VON nurse for many years. She was kind and dependable and a supportive team player. She was a good friend. My sympathies go out to the family.
Jeff and Chris, I'm sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Please accept my sincere condolences to you and the family at this most difficult time.
