Dear Al and family: Its been a long time since I talked to Marilyn but only a few weeks ago she came to mind because our 30th wedding anniversary is coming up in March/13. Marilyn was my friend, co-worker at PRA and ultimately my maid of honour at Cliffs and mine wedding. I thought I should get in touch with Marilyn and catch up as well as hopefully meet. Regretfully its too late for that. I was shocked to read of Marilyn's passing and would like to extend my condolences to Al and Marilyn's children and family. She was a great lady and I have fond memories of time spent with her, although not recently. She often spoke of her children in the most loving way, and of course of you Al as her husband. I communicated with Marilyn when you were overseas working Al and only recently discarded all of our correspondence from that time. I hope you will find peace and comfort with the memories shared with Marilyn, and both Cliff and I wish you well. Sincerely, Mary Swindell

Dear Al and family, I am writing on behalf of my mother Edith who was a long time friend of Marilyn. Mom is not well enough to get out much anymore but was shocked too hear your sad news. Marilyn was a great friend to Mom, as you know and helped her through that serious episode with cancer a few years ago. Mom thinks of her friend and your family often and is very saddened by your loss. Marilyn will be remembered fondly as a good person in our difficult world. Our sincerest condolences. From all the Burgess family but especially her good friend Edith.

I was six years old when I first met Mrs. Keyes as she lived down at the end of the hallway on Village Drive. She was my mom's best friend and she became my second mom. All through Grade School and right through High School when I was eighteen, Mrs. Keyes was always there for me. Today I am fifty-two and have had a great deal of professional success which I believe stems from my upbringing for which Mrs. Keyes played an important role in. She was loving and always greeted me and my brother and sisters with a smile and most importantly, she was always there for my mom through thick and thin and for that, I will always love my second mom, Mrs. Keyes.
