Maria Fatima Moniz (née Botelho de Medeiros)

Passed peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice of London on Monday, November 27, 2023 at the age of 76. Beloved wife of Manuel Moniz. Loving mother of Sandra (Anthony), Jeffery (Patricia), and Kevin (Meaghan). Treasured grandmother of Samantha (Austin), Quentin, Khloe, Amelia, and Maximus. Cherished daughter of Manuel Botelho Medeiros and Maria D’Estrela (Furtado) Medeiros. Dear sister of João Botelho, Natalia Machado, and the late Carlos Medeiros. A special thank you to St. Joseph’s Hospice, Dr. Kirk Hamilton and team, St. Elizabeth Health Home Care, Dr. Supriya Singh and Holy Family Parish. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., with prayers at 6:45 p.m., at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 1, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Parish, 777 Valetta Street, London.
