Peacefully at home with her family by her side on Friday, April 4th, 2014 in her 101st year. Beloved wife of the late Joaquim Da Cruz (2011). Loving mother of Annabella (Angelo) Tavares, Natalie (Alvaro) Santos and Lydia (Jack) Nunes. Cherished Avo of Daniel (Nancy), Christine (Brent), Steven, Lisa, Andrea (Nick) and Paul (Karla). Dear Bisavo of Abigail, Myles, Taylor and Hannah. Visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Monday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., with prayers at 7:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Chaldean Catholic Church, 89 Charles Street, London, on Tuesday, April 8th, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Entombment, St. Peter’s Holy Family Chapel Mausoleum. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Maria da Conceicao are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.

We are so sorry to hear of the loss of Maria. The Da Cruz Family has been a loving neighbor of ours for many years. Maria will be dearly missed by our family as is Jack. We will keep them in our heart and always smile when we think of them.
