Dear Currado Family, I was very sorry to hear of the passing of Maria. I have known her for many years, and she was always so wonderful about letting me practice my Italian with her. We had many lovely conversations, and I shall miss her. Best wishes, Andrew House
Dear Mary; It has been such a long time but I just read in the paper about your Mom's passing away. It sounds like she (and of course you) have had a long battle with illness. Having lost members of my family and supporting them through illness, I know how difficult, sad and exhausting it can be. Now your Mom is at peace, without any more suffering. My deepest condolences, I will keep you and your family in prayer. ~Laura (from long ago - Butcher Boy days)

Dear Joseph, Liz, Mary and Family, I was so sad to hear of the passing of Maria and I am sorry for your tremendous loss. Thank you so much Liz for calling me and do not regret not calling sooner. It was my pleasure getting to know your mother on so many levels and I will never forget her. Our Thursday visits were a highlight of my week. Maria proudly shared fascinating stories about her life in Canada and her Italian heritage. We giggled a lot. She dearly loved all of you and shared her strong faith. She was a lady. Her eyes sparkled when she told her stories and I could sense such strength and selflessness despite her limitations. I will miss her. Love, Nancy
