Margo Anne-Marie Rizzo (née Nagy)

Peacefully at her residence in London on Saturday, April 19^th, 2014, in her 65^th year.  Daughter of the late William A. Nagy and the late Roselyn.  Dear mother of Darcy L. W. Rizzo, of Hamilton, and Shawn C. Shoesmith, of Ottawa.  Predeceased by her daughter Charmaine Marie Rizzo and husband George A. Shoesmith.  Dear foster mother of Michelle D. Turner, Mike Chiasson and Calvin Dennis.  She will be missed by several grandchildren, including Kaily Rizzo and Daylin Shoesmith.  Margo was an aunt, great aunt, great-great aunt of several nieces and nephews.  Margo enjoyed her career in nursing and also was an active volunteer:  she was a member of the Kincardine Lions Club; served as both a Director and Chairperson for the White Oaks (London) Community Pool; and was honoured with a commemorative bench in London’s Springbank Park.  Visitation will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Tuesday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. as well as one hour prior to the funeral service being conducted in the chapel on Wednesday, April 23^rd, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.  Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.  Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Margo are asked to consider L.H.S.F. – Cancer Centre, the Lung Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
