Peacefully passed away at LHSC – University Hospital on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, Margaret Fordy, at the age of 82. Predeceased by her husband Frank. Cherished mother of Carol Elliott (Michael), Barbara Summers (Brian) and Ian Summers (Leigh Ann). Proud Nana of Bobby, Becky, Bethany, Sonya, Sara and Derek. Missed by her great-grandchildren. Private visitation will be held at Westview Funeral Chapel. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Margaret are asked to consider a charity of their choice.

Margaret was a beautiful and kind neighbour. We have many sweet memories of her and Frankie. They were so generous and loving with our children. I will always remember the time they shared, with our kids over tea, about England for a school project one had to do and the careful way Margaret tended her gardens but always with time for chats over the fence. Our kids considered her their longest standing grass customer of 9 years. We were able to lend a hand often and just truly treasured having such a beautiful soul as a neighbour. She is missed in the neighbourhood and we send our condolences to her family and friends💕 Thank you Margaret for your beautiful presence in our lives. I only had the opportunity of meeting my step- grandmother once & spending a short time with her and my grandad but It was one I’ll never forget. From all of us in Nova Scotia on grandad’s side, may she Rest In Peace ❤️

We all wish to send our sincere condolences on your Mum’s passing. She always stayed true to herself and lived life on her terms. I admire her for that. She was a great wife and companion to our Dad. He was very fortunate to find true love twice in his lifetime. Ryan, Shannon & Jesse remember happy Christmas blessings with Nana Margaret. Your memories are the best presents may they live always in your hearts. 🙏🏼😇❤️

Now she has gained her Angel wings and with the love of her life and soulmate, my Dad. She looked after him with tender loving care and gave it her all.
