Our thoughts and prayers are with Margaret's family during this difficult time. We always loved seeing Margaret's geranium plants at the cottage, along the steps and at the dock. That's when we knew summer at the cottage was official! We loved watching John and Margaret go for their nightly paddle boat ride around the big island. They looked so happy together. We know she will be missed.

Thinking of you all at this sad time. Fond memories of such happy times spent with Aunt Margaret and Uncle John in both Canada and Scotland . We will miss the correspondence with Margaret spanning more than 60 years and more recently the telephone conversations with her. Her strong personality touched the lives of so many people, not just family. She will be sorely missed by all.

Sorry to hear of her passing. I worked alongside her at 388 Dundas St many years ago and remember her fondly. She was a gentle, kind person with a strong will to fight injustice and make the world a place where those in trouble could find a soft landing. She taught me many things about compassion and I'm thankful for having known her. My condolences to her family on her loss.

So sorry to hear the sad news about. Aunt Margaret.Fondest memories of the time I spent in Canada with her and Uncle John and how welcome they made us.Also of the times she visited Scotland.Always remembered with love.

I have just learned of Margaret's passing. What a fine woman she was, a founder of our cottage road association who always offered wise and helpful comments at our annual meetings. She and John loved that cottage and were always welcoming. I've been sorry to see it sitting unused for several months now. I think her spirit is still there, perhaps flying with the bald eagles and herons we've watched lately across the water from her place.
