Passed away peacefully with family by her side, at Parkwood Institute in London, on Saturday, December 31, 2022. Joan is fondly remembered for her love of sewing, baking, attending lunches with friends and a weekly church service. She enjoyed her years spent working at London Life and in retirement, teaching senior fitness classes and caring for her granddaughters.

Heartfelt condolences to all the family. Joan was a special and talented lady to me. She taught me how to crochet and I still crochet to this day. We would have our lunch and shop Dundas Street and back to work. Rest in peace.
A donation has been made to St. Joseph's Healthcare Foundation - Parkwood Institute. Message from the donator: Fond memories of visits to the farmhouse and Aunt Joan's delicious roast beef dinners with roast potatoes. Always enjoyed her scrapbooks that she lovingly prepared for various life events in the family. She made one for my Mom and Dad's 25th anniversary which I kept after they passed. I still bring it out every once in a while and enjoy reading through it and laugh at the pictures your Mom cut out of magazines to portray the special moments in their lives, she was very creative! Love Linda
