Margaret Ann Smillie

Passed peacefully at McCormick Home on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at the age of 82. Cherished daughter of Clarence and Ann Smillie. Loving sister of the late Sharon Robinson (Ron), Carolyn Pedersen (Jorn), Brenda Treasure (Terry), and her late brother Brian Smillie (Elsa). Also a very devoted surrogate mother to her beloved furry four-legged friends, Daisy and Andy. Loving aunt to Jeff, Heather, Janice, Brian, Susan, Michael, Craig, Scott, Isabel, and James. Will be deeply missed by all of the nieces and nephew’s spouses, and great-nieces and nephews as well.

Marg taught at Lord Dorchester Secondary School for over 20 years, before retiring and turning her hand to volunteering at Victoria Hospital and the Grand Theatre, both in London.

A memorial service will be conducted at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at 5:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior. Reception to follow.
