Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Victoria Hospital, London, on January 30th, 2024, Magda Moody of London. Loving mother of Jason (Heidi) and Lisa (Rob). Proud Grandma of Matthew, Sebastian, Noah, Lyla, and Grace. Predeceased by her husband and best friend, Paul Moody, and later her friend and partner, Ernie Popovich. She will be greatly missed by “The Girls,” and her many friends.
Special thanks to the amazing staff at the London Cancer Clinic, specifically Dr. Sanatani, Dr. Welch, and Julie. Cremation has already taken place. Visitation will be held at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Monday, February 5, 2024 at 1:00 pm followed by the memorial service at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the London Regional Cancer Program.

I will miss this feisty, fun lady! Cherishing memories of our trip to TO to see Bat Out of Hell, her delicious Caesar dressing and all of our chats over a glass (o.k. really bottles) of wine. I will always remember when she and Ern came over early on Christmas Day to watch Marin and cook the turkey, so I could go to the hospital to deliver Tira. I was back home by 4 p.m. to share champagne and a lovely meal. Magda could always find a reason to laugh and I’m so grateful for her friendship. Cheers to the best Belgium blonde ever! 😍
Miss you my friend, Love you
Will miss you my friend. Our hour long phone calls about anything and everything, and I mean everything . Lol Our shopping trips to Port Stanley telling each other how we really need that purse or jacket and then topping the afternoon with a cold beer. I have the memories of such laughter. She always told you the honest truth and nothing but. Will miss you my friend. Love you.

Deeply sorry for your loss Lisa and family.
We will certainly miss her presence, dry humor and her candid expression of most things. She maintained her positive attitude through all her health battles to the very end. Rest in peace dear Magda.

Oh am I ever going to miss you and all of your sporadic check in phone calls or attempts to text! I’ll never forget just how much you lit up the salon every time you walked in, not one person could keep a straight face around you. Your personality was larger then life and like no other. The best humour, beyond sarcastic , straight to the point, beyond loving , the best smile and a voice that filled the room. I’ll forever hold onto our many laughs during all of your hair adventures (and were they ever adventures sometimes), I swear we could have wrote an entire book based around all your appointments. It was an honour to have met you and will forever cherish our time together! My deepest condolences to Magda’s family, friends and anyone else who knew her. She was and forever will be truly amazing!
