Peacefully, in her sleep, on Saturday, March 10th, 2012, Mrs. Madeline (Maddie) Salmon, of Ipperwash Beach, went to be with her Lord and Saviour, at the age of 84. Dearly beloved wife of the late George Salmon (2001). Beloved mother of Donna (Brian) Scott. Loving sister of Bill (Marg) White. Predeceased by her daughter Jeanette Doyle (2010) and five brothers: Charles, Frank, Albert, Harold and Jack. Beloved Grandma of Amy Viragos-Dixon (Chris), Kelly Hindle (James), Karen Doyle-Vandevenne, Dan Doyle and great-Grandma to eleven. As requested by Maddie, cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation and Celebration of Maddie’s Life will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Friday, March 16th, 2012 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Private family interment at Woodland Cemetery at a later date. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Maddie are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.

donna and family . please accept my condolences about your mother. i remember a lot of happy times. i have pics of you ,jeanette and i at the cottage in oliphant bay. we are so young. so sad to hear about jeanette. your mom was always so kind. i wrote her a few years ,she sent me a thank-you card. again i,m so sorry to hear your news. i subscribe to the london free press . john ,jim and janice will feel the same way. john lives in rostherm saskatchewan. the others in london.
