COLLINGS, Madeline Helen (Heatherley) (Cornell), – Peacefully, at Victoria Hospital, on Friday, April 23rd, 2010, Mrs. Madeline Helen (Heatherley) Collings of London in her 84th year. Beloved wife of Arthur Collings. Loving mother of Ken (Sherry) Cornell, Linda (Don) Burke, Jeffrey (Mary) Collings, Glenda Collings and Gordon Collings. Cherished grandmother of Rick (Kim) Burke, Don (Kelli) Cornell, Erin Fleck, Alex Fleck, Sarah Burke, Betty (Andrew) Span, Ivan (Concetta) Morrison, Amy Baker and great-grandmother of Gavin Cornell. Dear sister of Fred Heatherley, Pearl Wenechuk, Betty Phelps and Pringle Heatherly. Predeceased by her 1st husband Don Cornell (1966); her parents Leonard (1966) and Ethel (1980) Heatherley; granddaughter Stacey Cornell (2000); brothers and sisters Ruth Crossan, Lorne Heatherley, Jim Heatherley and John Heatherley. Madeline was a longstanding member of Fairmont United Church, C.P.R. Bowling at Fleetway 40, Ladies Bowling League at Fairmont as well as a lunchroom supervisor at Tweedsmuir Public School. Visitation will be held at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Monday, April 26th, 2010 from 2 – 4 and 7 -9 pm where the funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, April 27th at 11:00 a.m. In memory of Madeline donations to the LHSF- Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
