Gord, I am sorry to learn of your mother's passing.
We have known Luella for over 25 years, having met her and Lee at the Lambeth Horticultural Society in the early '90's. Since then our acquaintance grew into a beautiful friendship. My last visit with Luella was just before Christmas, and it was indeed a very special one. I have not known a person more gentle and kind and thoughtful than she. I remember telling her more than once, that she looked and acted very much like my own grandmother had. Even during my most recent visit with Luella, such a short time ago, I was humbly blessed that she still wanted to get up and make us a cup of tea. I will truly miss the regular visits with this dear and special lady. My heartfelt condolences and prayers are with you Gordon, and your family, during your sad time of great loss.
Dear Gordon with Lollo, Jason with family & Jeremy with family, We are very sorry for your loss. Today when loved ones came to say their good-byes, we heard many wonderful memories of Luella. We had only met Luella a few times together with her family, but we instantly knew that we could learn life lessons from her gentle, loving ways and quiet laugh. Her kind eyes and smile did most of the talking. They always told how much she loved her family and how much joy they brought her. We will always remember this and are thankful that we have known her. Our thoughts are with all of you and we will often think of Luella. Her generous love, her kind smile and her gentle voice will live in everyone's hearts forever. With our deepest sympathies, Irene, Derwyn and family.

Luella was a gentle and kind person, a talented pianist, a close friend of the Alexanders, and had a phenomenal memory even in her final days.
