O’SHEA, Lucas – Unexpectedly on Monday, February 28th, 2011, Lucas O’Shea of London in his 28th year. Loving son of Tom O’Shea and Cary Smith. Adored brother of Adam, Dillon and Amy. Dear grandson of Theresa O’Shea and the late Vincent O’Shea and the late Harold and Harriet Smith. Loving nephew of Kathleen and Walter Lock, Kevin and Bonnie O’Shea, Bert and Mary Walker, and Gary and Peggy Smith. Survived by many cousins. A memorial service will be conducted at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Saturday, March 5th, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Private family interment at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Lucan, at a later date.

Luke was an extremely sweet, talented guy and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to know him at Beal. I'm very sorry for your loss.

Having been friends growing up in Lucan, and later re-connecting briefly at Beal I always felt that Luke was such a profoundly talented and creative person. His good-humor and genuinely warm and gracious disposition seemed to come so naturally, I always admired him, and will never forget him. He will be missed. My thoughts are with his family at this time. My deepest condolences to you.
I had the supreme pleasure of working with Luke at Henry's Photo Video. He was one of my absolute favourite people to work with. He was fun, creative and even on the most tired of Saturday morning meetings he had a way of energizing all of us before we even had a chance to drink coffee. I consider it a great honor to have known Luke and have considered him a close friend. I extend my prayers to the O'Shea family and all who have ever known or loved Luke. I worked at Henrys with Luke. He was a great friend, caring, smart and very funny. I will miss him very much.

Luke was a magical person. Every time I saw Luke pick up an instrument, paintbrush, camera (the list goes on), I was amazed by his talent. His passion was infectious, his demeanor was jovial and I am very proud to have been his friend. I attended Beal with Luke and remained friends with him long after. I am very sorry for you loss. Luke was one of the best friends I've ever had in my life. His energy and spirit was rejuvenating, and he was nothing short of a mentor for me, especially in the dark times of my life. He could inspire me to be the best I could be in art and personality. I will miss him for the rest of my life.

I only recently found out about your passing. Luke and I met in high school Chemistry and Art class and went to prom together. He was one of few people that I kept in touch with after high school. Luke was incredibly talented at all art forms. I wish we'd spent more time talking and letting him know that he was such a clever person. I will always remember you. You will be missed.

Lucas and I had been friends through many different avenues, almost seeming to find each other time and time again. His optimism, spirit, and satire always gave him an approachable warmth that only a true friend could share. Lucas was a great man, his creativity was endless, his passion unparalleled by any man I have met to date. His talents stretched through so many different fields that only those who knew him, could truly tell you how special he was. I'll miss him for many reasons, as I know all of you will too.
