Lorraine Margarite Hill
February 16, 2017
Peacefully on Thursday, February 16th, 2017, with family by her side in her 89th year. Predeceased by her loving partner Harry Hill of 69 years. Loving mother of: Greg Hill (Joan), Jennifer Srigley (Terry), Mark Hill (Heather), and Brad Hill (Jackie). Dear grandmother of: Tara, Shelley, Megan, Keith, Matthew, Becky, and Seana. Best GeeGee ever to Kalei, Teaghan, Ryder, Terren, Reilly, and Tanner. Mom/Grandma/GeeGee had never shown a lack of love, support and happiness, especially when it came to her family and friends. Always wanting to spend time with us to encourage us to grow, smile and feel appreciated. She was one of the most consistent, positive and honest people you will ever know. Grandma, you made us feel at ease, so loved, accepted and welcome in this world full of worries. We love you beyond words. Special thanks to the Palliative Care Team, especially Fiona, Kathy, Nicolle, Micheleine, Michelle, Dr. Koivu and Dr. A. Mall. A funeral service will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Monday, February 20th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Lorraine are asked to consider My Sisters’ Place or Mission Services of London.

I am sorry to hear about the passing of Loraine . She was my first cousin. I had many great memories of her. We spent time together in our younger and older years. I read in the London free press of the news she left this world. I remember her kindness and Friendship. In her later years we went out for many lunches. I enjoyed every minute of her personality. My prayers and thoughts go out to Loraine's family and friends. She will be missed .
So sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. Al and I spent many good times with Lorraine and Harry. My prayers and thoughts are with you all. Take care.

Already miss you Mom. You were a rock. Joan
Mom I'm sorry I wasn't there in the end but when I showed you the picture of you and Jen and what a handful you two were and that big grin you had I knew I was really saying goodbye. I will never forget how you made me like part of the family from the time I meet Jen. Always a spot for me at meal time when I would have no where to go. Your unconditional love and support you gave me and my family will never be forgotten. The example of the way you lived your life and treated other have been seen by my children and grand children will be with them for ever and as you seen they live by your teachings. Say hello to Dad for me and till we meet again I love you.
We are so sorry to hear of Aunt Lorraine's passing. Our thoughts and prays are with her whole loving family at this time. God bless, Ted, Bonnie and Uncle Harry.
We are sorry to hear of the passing of such a wonderful woman. We always enjoyed our visits with both Harry and Lorraine then just Lorraine. Every time she laughed it took Rick back to the Sanderson get togethers, what an infectious laugh from a happy, bubbly and loving person. When we talked with her about the grandkids and great grandkids the pleasure and pride she had was very evident in her face. We wish we could be in London to be at the funeral but remember our thoughts and prayers are with you all from British Columbia. Pat and Rick
Extending my sympathy to the Hill family. It just so happen that I opened the London Free Press paper today and my fingers opened the obituary page which I don't use to do then I saw your Mom's name. I was suddened about the sad news. Prayers for your Mom...she is an angel...a very good hearted woman.
