Peacefully passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023.

Lorie was predeceased be her beloved husband of 45 years, Donald A. Hoad (March 17, 2019).

To honour Lorie’s final wishes, there will be no service. A private interment will be held at Woodhull Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Lorie are asked to please consider a charity of your choice.

I worked with Lorie so many years ago in Port Credit. We reconnected over 20 years ago here in London when we both volunteered for The Humane Society. We would have visits a few times a year at each other’s homes. She never forgot our birthdays and always checked in to see how we were doing. She was a wonderful person and we are sorry to hear of her passing. RIP Lorie.
