Lois Joyce Morgan (nee MacDonald)

Lois passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 2, 2018, at peopleCare Long Term Care Centre at the age of 91. Lois was predeceased by her loving husband Ron “Taff”, sister Norma and brother Craig. After graduating from Galt Collegiate in Cambridge, Ontario, Lois worked in finance for Pitt’s Life Insurance and the Dominion Automobile Association until her retirement. She enjoyed a good game of bowling and displayed her artistic talent by painting china plates, tea cups, and the faces of miniature Christmas Caroler dolls. During a visit to friends in Bayfield, Ontario, Lois met, and fell in love with, her husband Ron. For many years, Lois and “Taff” had many adventures on their sailboat, Manteo, and were part of the large sailboat community in Bayfield where they moored their boat. Lois was a member of “The Club”:  a friendship circle started by 5 teenage girls, that lasted a lifetime and had a lifetime of incredible memories. Lois is survived and will be missed by her sister-in-law Angie (late Craig) MacDonald. Lois was a generous and loving Aunt who will be remembered fondly by niece Karen Smith; and nephews Russ, Mark and David MacDonald. Interment will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 11:45 a.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 2723 Victoria Street North, Breslau, Ontario.
