It is with sadness that the family of Lloyd Wells announces his passing on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at LHSC – University Hospital, only days before his 92nd birthday. Lloyd is survived by June, his loving wife and high school sweetheart of 68 years. Cherished father of his children, Pam (Doug) and Brad (Chris). Grandpa will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Jared, Meghan, Ryan, Tyler and Dylan. He was a loving “Big Poppa” to his great-grandchildren Riley and Scottie. Lloyd is also survived by his brother Bob, and predeceased by his brother Rick.
Family and friends will miss Lloyd’s treasured stories from his time in the R.C.M.P. and Consumer and Corporate Affairs. During his retirement, he travelled across Canada and spent many enjoyable winter months golfing in Fort Myers, Florida.
Visitation will be held at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Rd. North, London on Friday, November 1st, 2024 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. A private family service will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024 with interment at Woodland Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

While I haven't seen Lloyd since 1952, his name brings back fond memories of one night both of us missed the last boat crossing the Northwest Arm in Halifax. We were both living in the RCMP barracks at the time. It was a fun evening. Please accept my sincerest sympathies.
Dear June and family, we were sorry to hear of Lloyd’s passing .We remember many memories from Beck College . Lloyd and I lived close by each other and went to Lady Beck as well. Our condolences to June and family. Lloyd’s smile will be missed at gatherings. He had retired to work for the Ontario Government when I met Lloyd in London in 1990. We often saw June and he at gatherings hosted by the London RCMP Vets. Lloyd will be missed
