Linda McCarthy

After a short illness, Linda passed away in London, Ontario, on Tuesday, December 29, 2020. Linda was a retired Registered Nurse with a 40-year career at London Health Sciences Centre. Left to mourn her passing are her husband Jack, daughter Kelly, son Ryan (Jody), and grandchildren Alyson and Benjamin. Private funeral arrangements have been made. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Linda are asked to consider ALS Canada. Linda’s favourite saying: “Never regret getting older, it’s a privilege denied to many.”

I am saddened to hear of Linda's passing. I know Linda as a long-time and great friend to my mom, Marianne. My mom spoke so fondly of their friendship over the years and I know she will always hold special memories, particularly of their trip to Australia & New Zealand together. I am thinking of your family during this time.

I am not sure if you would remember me. I am one of your Aunt Bea's (my Mimi) granddaughters. I worked as a respiratory therapist at the hospital for many years and would meet up with Linda in many of the areas we worked. We would chat about Aunt Maggie and Mimi and stop 26 whenever we met up. I am so sorry to hear of Linda's passing.
