Linda McAffer
April 28, 1952 - January 23, 2025
Linda passed away peacefully, in her 73rd year and was surrounded by family in London.
As a parent, friend, and traveller, Linda’s embrace of life resulted in her philosophy that memories are more valuable than possessions. Linda had a successful career spreading over 4 decades in insurance. Linda retired from Economical Insurance in 2009. Linda was born in Sarnia but grew up in Norwich, Ontario. Linda was preceded by her parents Roy Morrison and Lois Johnson, brother Dann Morrison, husband William (Bill) Ewing and husband of 12 years, Dennis Russel McAffer.
Devoted mother of Kevin (Kim) Ewing of LaSalle, Becky Black of London, Nicole Ewing and Joe Boushey of Ottawa, Ben (Sarah) Black of London, Russell (Tracy) McAffer of London and Darren (Michelle) McAffer of London. Linda cherished her grandchildren: John, Lily, and Charlie Ewing, and Jack and Holly Black. Connor (Alexia) and Dylan McAffer, and Owen and Abbey McAffer, and great-grandchildren Oliver and Cooper.
The celebration of life will be at a later date. Donations to Mission Services of London or London Abused Women’s Centre gratefully acknowledged.

So sorry to hear of the sudden passing of Linda. Linda was a very good friend to the people in her life. She had the luxury of travelling the world but treasured her roots and her family. May the love in her handmade quilts be felt for many years to come. Dennis and Linda - together again.
