The daughter of David and Charlotte Marshall and the youngest of six children, she is predeceased by all her siblings: Charlotte LaFatta, Norman Marshall, David Marshall, Evelyn Ebbinghaus and Norma Iles. Cherished wife of 59 years, Linda was predeceased by her loving husband, Lynn Leighton Brush, in 2020, whom she has missed dearly these past three years. Beloved mother to Laird and Lise Brush; Susan Brush and Dan Bourque; and Eric and Pamela Brush. Dear Grandma to Taylor and Kevin Strybosch, Sarah Brush, and Jake Brush (Chelsea Dean); Jesse Sherriff and Kayla Shepard; Lexi Sherriff and Derek Coleman; Maegan and Adam Bryan, and Avery Brush. Loving great-grandma to Gwenyth and Luna Bryan, Benjamin and James Coleman. Originally from Windsor, Ontario, Linda and Lynn brought their family to London where they lived for 42 years. Linda loved having her family around her, walking on the beach in Myrtle, a game of Euchre with lots of teasing, a good book, a challenging puzzle, and she never met a chocolate she didn’t like. She is also remembered by her extended family, The Brush-Brats – Gary and Donna Brush, Camilla and Lorne MacKinnon, and Catherine Gniposky; her lifelong friends nicknamed The Dinosaur Club; her neighbours, work colleagues, and acquaintances. I worked with Linda at Fanshawe College for several years. She hired me to be a part-time electrical instructor in the Continuing Education program. She was very thoughtful and helpful and overall a pleasure to work for and with overall.

~ Ivo Dlouhy (part-time instructor)

To Linda's family I had the opportunity to work with Linda at Fanshawe College, in Continuing Education, and in the Registrar’s Office. She was highly regarded by all who knew her. In this sorrowful time, take comfort in knowing you have loving memories to forever hold in your heart. My deepest sympathy on your unexpected loss.

My deepest sympathies to Linda's family. I worked with Linda at Fanshawe Collège. She was indeed a very kind and lovely person. May it help you to know that others are thinking of you with gentle and caring thoughts at this sad time.

I met Linda at Fanshawe College, she was a lady with great strength of character mixed with an incredible sense of humour. She was awesome, yet watch out she played a mean game of euchre. We would get together with Lynn and Linda to play cards and from the moment we all got together the room was filled with laughter. They were a devoted couple, and loved their family. We felt blessed knowing them.

~ Tom & Nancy Paquette

I will always remember Linda's kindness and her laughter.

It was my extreme luck and pleasure to have been interviewed by Linda in 1990 and work under her guidance and direction in Continuing Ed until 1999. Linda taught me everything I needed to know about working at Fanshawe, nursing babies, making cookies and so much more. We shared many, many conversations and she told me lots of stories about her life. Linda was so influential in my life for those 9 years that she was more than a co-worker, but became my "work mom". What a dear, sweet lady, I am deeply saddened by this news. My condolences to the whole family, Linda will be missed.

~ Troy Townsend

Dear Sue and Family, My deepest condolences. Thoughts and prayers are with you. May your memories comfort you.

Grandma, Thank you for showing me what unconditional and true love means. You always were a cheeky little brat. I’ll miss the finger wagging and “ah AH!’s”, the long hugs and little sneaky whispers. You left a beautiful impression everywhere you went. We are so lucky to have had you here with us for so much. I know you’ll be there with me for all the rest. “Good show” Grandma. Say hi to Pa for me ❤️ Love you to bits!
