I'm so sorry for the loss of Larry, we met through Larryoke a couple of times and he always let me know how much he loved to hear me sing. Larry was an amazing guy and always managed to put a smile on mine and my family's faces whenever we went to sing. My condolences to his family but he will be remembered very fondly ❤

I’m terribly sorry for Larry’s close friends and family’s loss. I met Larry maybe 9/10 years ago at the Dawg. I was singing along to a Beatles tune that was playing through the system at the bar and he stopped and asked if I liked the Beatles, of course I said yes and he then proceeded to show me his tattoo and go on about the band. From then on was it was always incredibly warm and welcoming hellos, good conversation and some occasional tequila shots when we’d see each other. Larry always knew how to make you feel good when he was speaking to you. A very kind, funny and all around great guy. To one of the kindest people I’ve ever met - you will be sincerely missed and forever remembered anytime I hear the Beatles!

I met Lawwy - aka Larry - in 2015, when he became my co-worker. Throughout the past 7+ years, he became more than a co-worker, he became a friend. He had a way of making people laugh and usually had a joke on hand. We used to have chats every morning in the office and he never failed to have a story to share. Rest in the Sweetest Peace Larry - play your best round and have a few jaagerbombs up there for me - free from any and all pain, our loss is most definitely heavens gain... cheers my friend - until we meet again....

I am truly saddened to hear you are gone. Your kindness, irreverence, and warmth made yo instantly likeable. Having you bellow " Bella" when you would see me ..brightened even my surliest of moods and made me laugh. I am sad that life took over in the last 10 years and I saw you so infrequently my friend. You are missed already.

Larry was one of the first Dawghouse regulars I met when I became a Wednesday night regular several years ago. He cheerfully chirped me and my mates that he and Michelle gave up their table on Wednesday just for us. But we hugged and chatted every Wednesday about the Leafs, the Jays, his beloved Argos and golf right up until two weeks ago. His sudden loss is so shocking. I will miss everything about him, and will never forget him. Endless love and thoughts to Michelle and his family.

There are people in the world that you instantly like and Larry was one of those people. Whether it was holding and umbrella over the drummer to stay dry during a rainy “Kimfest” set, balancing an empty beer can on his hat to advise the waitress you were ready for another, or singing a special song to Michelle just to make her smile, Larry was just one of those people and will be missed by everyone who knew him. Sending love and prayers to you and yours, Cheers friend!

I remember the first time I worked a Larryoke at the Dawghouse. Larry kept singing "Shari baby" to me to try to get me to come up and do a song. Serving Larry and Michelle was always a pleasure and tons of fun....I will always remember and treasure all the laughs and hugs and memories he gave us at the Dawghouse. Rest easy my friend. You'll be so so missed. Shari
