WELLS, Laureen – On Monday, September 26th, 2011 at London Health Sciences Centre, with her family by her side, G. Laureen Wells passed away peacefully in her 76th year. Beloved wife of William (Bill) Wells and loving mother of Linda, Nancy, Jim and Anne. Predeceased by her parents Lawrence and Gertrude Stephens. Dear sister of Bob Stephens and the late Francis Bond, Harry, Jack and Earl Stephens. Laureen will be sadly missed by her loving grandchildren Amanda, Matthew, Patrick, Andrew and Christopher. Laureen was a graduate of the Victoria Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1957. A memorial visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 28th, 2011 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North. A private service will be held by the family at a later date. Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Laureen made me feel as if I was a member of the family. I will miss her dearly. My deepest sympathies and most heartfelt condolences to the family.
Dear Bill, Linda, Nancy, Jim and Annie.....although I haven't seen Laureen for many years I still remember her fondly. Our two families enjoyed lots of good times when I was younger. So sad to lose someone like Laureen at such a young age. My thoughts are with all of you.
Dear Bill & Family: I worked at Wells Foundry in the office for a few years for Bill - I did not know Laureen personally but knew of her through working there. It is so sad when you lose a loved one - my thoughts and prayers are with you.
Linda, we are remembering your beautiful Mother today. She remains with us in the beautiful legacy she has left behind in her family, her children and grandchildren. Love to you and your family.
We have just returned home and received the news of Laureen. We trained to-gether and worked to-gether and had many a good laugh to-gether. Our thoughts are with you Bill and the children, the world has lost a good person.
