It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected and tragic passing of our dear Krista, on Tuesday, April 26, 2022. Our family is broken…
Krista Joelle Zubick was born on July 31, 1985, in London, Ontario, to her parents, Bruce and Barb. She was a child of God, and a beloved sister to Tammy Hedges (Shawn), Ben Zubick (MaryJane), and Sarah Thompson (Jeff). The best aunt in the world to Seth, Cooper, Lauryn, Faith, Caleb, Zachary, Ayden, and William. Predeceased by her father, Bruce, who she missed greatly, and her nephew, Ethan Zubick. Dear friend of John Neufeld, who brought such joy to the last few months of her life. Krista also leaves behind her treasured four-legged fur baby, Chance. Coming from a large family, she was surrounded by many dear aunts, uncles and cousins, who loved her greatly.
Krista was a beautiful light in all of our lives. She lived for her family, and faithfully encouraged and supported them through all of life’s joys and struggles. Krista was future focused, and was always planning the next fun adventure. She brought endless joy to her nieces and nephews, who absolutely adored her. Krista loved to cook, and was always treating her family to her latest culinary delight. She worked at TD Canada Trust, and enjoyed her great team of co-workers, who are saddened by her loss.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 from 1:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where a memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Woodland Cemetery. A livestream of the service will be available to those who are unable to attend in person.

Dear Barb and family We pray that the Lord will provide you with comfort and strength at this very difficult time.We were saddened that you lost Krista so suddenly.Krista will be missed by so many family and friends.We are continuing to keep all of you in our prayers.
We are so very very sorry and saddened at the loss of Krista. She adopted Chance from our rescue and she was so happy. She wrote several weeks ago to thank us for letting her be Chance's mom and talked about possibly adding to her fur family. Heartbroken to know she is gone. Our deepest sympathies to her family and friends. Krista was always a very happy positive person and we looked forward to her emails with updates on her life with Chance.
Our sincerest condolences to all the Zubick family. This loss is so deep. No words can express how grief stricken we all are. From a sweet little girl to a beautiful woman Krista will be forever in our hearts. Rest In Peace.

I am so sorry to hear this news. I have been away from the Zubick family for many years. They travel with the Angels. So many of my early memories are centered around this family doing what was right. To all of you from someone who knows”May you all understand that every Zubick has a place in heaven next to the righteous”. Please accept the feelings of someone who stood by your family and watched for so many years. May the next generation know that being good and doing right, should be the Mark of all Men and Women.
It’s unfathomable the sorrow this family is going through. We know what a shining bright light Krista was , especially when bragging about nieces and nephews . Her love for family and fur babies was unmeasurable . She was a ray of sunshine . We send our heartfelt sympathies to the Zubick clan . I love you little sister and I wish I could fix this for you .

My daughter Courtney was in Amabile the same time Krista's sister Sarah was and I traveled many miles with Grandma Doris England. We enjoyed many a chat over the fence and in our snowy driveways. Usually our conversation centred around her beloved Bear, who we know is comforting her now, and our best girl, Rosie. We shared in the joy when she brought home her new best friend, and fur baby Chance. We are so sorry for her loss, an immeasurable one.
So sorry to hear of this sad news. Krista was so kind-hearted and had such a great smile and laugh. Thoughts and prayers are with you.
