It is heartbreaking to hear that you are no longer with us Kerry. You were such a selfless and effervescent coach to have. You made my years of ringette in University pure joy and inspired me in so many areas on and off the ice. This world will be less vibrant without your spark in it, but you lit so many fires while you were here. Thank you for your positivity, determination, and leadership. So much love to you and your family <3

~ Megan Walter

I am shocked and so sad to hear about Kerry's tragic accident! We first met when we were both coaching ringette in London in the early 1990s. He was such a great positive person to be around. His smile is unforgettable! We reconnected a few years ago when he installed our Xplornet internet at our home in Port Stanley. It was so nice to see him again! He was very helpful and always so much fun to visit with - my sincere condolences to his family. Kerry will be missed by so many whose lives he touched, Aniko

My sincere condolences to the Box family. Kerry was such an energetic positive smiling coach that went out of his way for the Ringette teams he coached. I had the privilege of coaching with him on several teams from AA to Western Region Ringette Team. He will truly be missed by everyone that knew him and especially his family. Keep your memories close to your hearts. I am truly sorry for your loss.

We are so very sorry for your loss. It is never easy to say GOOD BYE to our love ones. Please remember all the great things Kerry did.

~ Lise and Ken Chaplin

My deepest condolences to Kerry's Family Foremost, I remember Kerry as a parent of one of the many players that were fortunate to have him as a coach. Kerry was always encouraging, positive giving his feedback with a smile. My daughter Monica was very fortunate to have him as a coach at Forest Ringette. I have fond memories of Kerry at the tournaments we attended including sometimes hoisting a drink after a long day of Ringette and discussing how he could "improve" (LOL) his coaching strategy. As a former Executive member of the Forest Ringette Association I would like to thank Kerry for his dedication, passion for the game of Ringette and passing this as well as his knowledge about the game on to his players. Thank you Kerry

To the family and friends of Kerry; Sad to hear his life ended so soon. We only knew Kerry for a few years, however his never ending smile and the stories he told around the campfires will stay with us for many years. We will miss him pulling in the campground and spending his weekends with us. Our deepest condolences to you all.

I Remember Kerry always laughing and had a joke and it was usually ongoing. I remember his imitation of Johnny Cash. Praying for all the family🙏

~ Margaret Morency

To the Box family I offer my deepest heartfelt sympathy. Kerry was a remarkable person that would tackle any task and always with a big smile often followed by that chuckle. He worked hard at everything he did and was a real joy to work with in all aspects of ringette. Volunteers as committed as Kerry are very hard to find. He was kind, genuine, trustworthy, and very positive. We shared many laughs which are now many fond memories. So very sorry this wonderful life came to end so suddenly.

~ Betty Ann Kerrigan

We have many fond memories of Kerry as an enthusiastic ringette parent and coach. To Laurie and his family we send heartfelt thoughts and prayers. May your memories and the support of those around you give you strength.

I am very saddened to hear about the tragic and sudden loss of Kerry. Kerry was a wonderful man and a former partner and friend to my mother Wendy for many years and a part of our family. Kerry was a generous, caring, kind man who was always offering his help and was so gracious, supportive and helpful. Unfortunately I hadn't seen him in many years but I always had such great memories of him and I am so sorry to hear about his tragic and sudden loss. I will continue to hold the good memories that I have of him in my heart, and I attached a picture of us from when him and my mom came to visit me in Whistler, BC in 2013. Sending my condolences to his family, and I am so deeply sorry for your loss.

To the wonderful Box kids, You're all in my heart and thoughts always, but even more so today. I am heartbroken for you all on the loss of your wonderful and beloved father, Your dad was such a kind man, and I know you’ll miss him dearly. I feel so lucky to have known him as well. You could see the love he had for each and everyone of you and the way he would light up when one of his sweet grandbabies were around. I know there are no words to help heal your broken hearts but I hope you find comfort in all your memories together. Sending you so much love Sara, Jason and Family Xo
