Dear Libby and Family Betty and I were very sorry to hear of Ken's passing. We both worked with Ken at Westview. I was a funeral director assistant along with Ken and Betty got to know him from her time hostessing receptions at the funeral home. He was a great guy, a real gentleman and he always had a story to tell. He was extremely proud of his military career and he loved to tell stories of his past experiences. Plus he always kept us current with the latest weather forecast. We wish you and your family much peace and comfort in the days and weeks to come.

Libby and family, so sorry to read of Ken's passing. My thoughts go out to you and your family and the Howard clan. I remember when the Family moved to the res at the cemetery..what great times we had. A lot of water has gone under the bridge. I got reunited with Ken when he was at the court hse. We had many long talks. Ken was a great guy I'm sure your memories will help you through the times to come Bob

~ Bob Petrie (friend, neighbour)

I felt so sad when I read of my cousin Ken's passing. When we were kids, I remember playing with Ken, John, Mike, Pete, and Mary Margaret at the cemetery when our family visited. Then, reconnecting with Ken after he retired and worked at St. Peter's and later at Westview. It was very comforting to have Ken present at Westview when my Mother passed away. He was very kind to us, as he was to everyone. To all the family, I send my sincerest condolences. I hope knowing that Uncle Len, Aunt Noreen and Peter were waiting to welcome Ken with open arms may prove to be a comfort to you. Everyone who knew Ken will miss him tremendously, but when we think of a man who had a life well-lived, we will think of Ken.
