Kelly Collins

December 8, 2016

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, on Thursday, December 8th, 2016, in her 44th year. Cherished wife and best friend of Rob. Proud Mom of Daniel, Cameron and Avery. Beloved daughter of Jean Morton and daughter-in-law of Bob and Sandy Collins. Dear sister-in-law of Randy Collins (Erica). Kelly shared a sisterly love with many, namely Gaby, Sheila, Linda, Irene and Melissa. She will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. Kelly was a graduate of UWO, an avid scrapbooker, and super busy volunteer Mom with Ashley Oaks Public School Home and School Association for many years. Kelly was a PSW who always practiced what she preached “soft hands, warm heart.” She was a soccer coach for many years and was known for loudly cheering on her three sons. Visitation will be held on Sunday, from 3:00 – 5:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London where the funeral service will be conducted on Monday, December 12th, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant cemetery. Kelly fought hard and never gave up hope that she would receive her gift of life: A new heart. Those wishing to make a donation in her memory are asked to consider University Hospital – Multi-Organ Transplant Program (MOTS). Many thanks to the amazing team in ICU and MOTS at University Hospital. She was treated with care and loved by all.
