To Alan, Angela, Martyn, Sue and Families - We were sorry to hear of the passing of your mom, Kathy. Our thoughts are with you at this sad time. We remember your mom as a sweet, caring person. We always enjoyed our visits with both of your parents when the visited B.C. We particularly remember the cards we received from Kathy. She always made an extra special effort to include hand written personal thoughts. Although we know she hadn't been well in her last few years we hope she didn't suffer too greatly. With caring memories, Eric and Vicki Gemmell.
What I knew as the sweetest, kindest, loving lady in the world, ended her long fight with Alzheimer's with such strength. My mind is flooded with memories of and with her, and I hope I can share those with my kids so they might have a piece of her in their memories too. I hope she is with Grandad again, her true love, doing all the things they used to do (he's probably saying come on Kath, what took you so long!). My thoughts are especially with my Dad Alan, Aunt Angela, Aunt Susan and Uncle Martyn during this difficult time. I'll always remember the reading she did on my wedding day - "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." Love you forever Nana xoxo
She is a star that will always shine in my memory bank. A lovely Aunt who seemed always glad to see me. Rest in peace Aunty Kitty. My kindest thoughts to all the family. Wish I could be with you.
Angela, my special best friend. Your Mum was such a gentle, kind spirit with a lovely smile. I will always remember her singing voice, and her amazing strength and courage. I am blessed to have known her and am grateful especially for the time we spent at McGarrell together. Roland and I send our love to you, Bob, Alan, Sue and Martin and the rest of the family.
I have nothing but fond memories of a sweet woman. I think often of her kindness and warmth in the household. I wish the family strength and future happiness. I will honour and remember her by sharing some of that learned kindness with those around me.
I have so many fond memories of Kath & Joe during the sixty years I have known them. Many wonderful times spent at Batttleton Road, Suncourt, Dearborn Ave & Quinella Drive, with Kath being such a good hostess. Her generosity and kindness was a wonderful quality which will be remembered by all. Our heartfelt thoughts are with all the family at this sad time. Kath was such a wonderful person in every way and it has been an honour to have known her. God Bless.
I was surprised and saddened to receive the news that Kathy passed away. She was a very kind soft spoken generous mother . I remember she belinged to the red hat singing group the exact name of it eludes me. I would have liked to have heard her sing, anyway it was a privilege to have known her and all I can say is I'm looking forward to seeing you again on the other side... cheers
Dear Angela, it was a great honour for me to have been able to meet your mom before she became ill. She was a vibrant and strong woman. My thoughts are with you and your family

In one of the stars I shall be living, in one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all of the stars are laughing when you look up at the sky at night. There is sweetness in the laughter of the stars, and in the memories of the ones you love. With deepest sympathies. RIP Auntie Kath.
To auntie tickie(never could say kitty)thinking of the good-times and fab visits to suncourt. Maybe not falling in pig poo at a local farm and uncle Joe carrying me home though x love always your niece liz x
I have never had the privilege of meeting you, but yet am in awe of you. Your spirit of loving, kindness and laughter lives on in your children and grandchildren. Much love to your family in their time of grief. May you forever be at peace
I spent many a summer holiday at Auntie Kitty and Uncle Joe's place in Cleeve Prior. I remember Uncle Joe as being a solid male role model, a strong, decent and loving guy. I remember Auntie Kitty for her warmth and love and positive outlook. She had such a bubbly personality. We used to laugh a lot together. My mum, her sister Molly, passed last November and always had Kitty in her thoughts.
Kathleen (Mum) was the kindest most compassionate person who always saw the best in people. Her strong faith bore her through the tough times and I'm pretty sure she's singing in the choir as I write this as she loved to sing. My condolences to the family.
So sorry my Auntie Kath has gone...My condolences to Angie, Alan, Mart and Sue. She was loved by all the family and a wonderful woman. Sure my Uncle Joe is happy to have her with him now. I remember lots of great times at Suncourt and in Canada. XOXOXO
At Peace, Aunty Kitty, re-united with Uncle Joe and probably catching up with Sisters Molly and Pat. Enjoy your ease like you enjoyed your life

I have loving memories of Kathy singing in the Byron United Church Choir with my mom Donna. She made it easy to feel at home and loved no matter what the hour I would walk up Dearborn Ave to visit with Sue. Tea on a tray to watch a lunar eclipse outside. That is what a life well lived is made of. Heartfelt thanks Kathy for letting me be part of the Hill clan. Love and hugs to all the Hills. May her memory be a blessing always.
